Click on the PAGE NAME link to view any
page in it's own window. Close the window using your browser. Tor return to the main site, click on the TS-2000 Menu above. The MENU design is based upon the TS-2000 by Kenwood. This is one of the most versatile radios available to the Amateur Radio family. This radio eliminates the need for separate radios on VHF and UHF. Kenwood also offers an optional 1.2 GHz operation feature. The radio requires no additional filters, and has only 1 (one) plug in option (voice synthesizer). The dual radio MAIN/SUB feature allows you to listen to VHF/UHF FM operation while operating HF/VHF/UHF in any other mode desired. CREDITS: Technical: Website Server: IpowerWeb Service Provider: Verizon FIOS (fiber optics) Computer: Intel Based P4 CPU Dual Core 2.6 Ghz - Intel 1055DGS chipset. Webmaster: Terry Churchfield, Pittsburgh PA. Software: FrontPage 2003, Photoshop 7.0, Macromedia Flash 8.0, WebCamXP, MSsql Server and Javascript. Additional programming: Visual Basic Studio and Visual Web Designer. The 2000 Menu designed in Photoshop and animated as a FLASH MOVIE. Spot Pages: These spots are courtesy Ham Radio Deluxe DX Cluster and are updated automatically every 5-10 minutes. They are IN-FRAME pages here on this website, but the content is linked to HRD and the call signs are linked to the QRZ website. Help: Navigating this site is rather simple. You
can use this page as your reference, or simply place your mouse pointer
on any 2000 MENU; knob, button or dial. The MAIN DIAL "finger slot" will
return you to the MAIN PAGE where you can use the buttons. Each active button or control has it's own unique SCREEN TIP. In other terms, your mouse pointer will change into a BROWSER POINTER if the button or key is ACTIVE. A SCREEN TIP will "pop up", when you see (W) in a SCREEN TIP, that indicates that the page is off-site, and will open in a new window. The (R) indicates that the new page will REPLACE this site. SCREEN TIP If you are familiar with the TS-2000, this menu should be intuitive. For instance...the SAT buttons are used here for SOLAR information and propagation pages. The ON/OFF button takes you to CAM RADIO NET home page. The RIT control and keys are active and they link to all my other Internet Websites. They will shift you away from this site... SO as you can see this ain't rocket science, and even though the menus are not as generally expected, this is a very informal website and you should take a moment to look it over. In most all cases K3HKR is responsible for the on-site page content. If not, credit will be given where credit is due. This site is never static very long, so bookmark and stop back again... FYI: When you see this 73 - K3HKR |
